It has been a whole year since I’ve opened up Dreaming of Stars and so much as changed since then. I’ve definitely grown as a webmiss, expanded my topics & my network, and shuffled things around like a madwoman! Since the site has opened, it has had over 25,000 hits which is amazing to me. I’ve branched out to many topics, including TV shows like The Vampire Diaries, Psych, Cougar Town, Desperate Housewives, etc. But I haven’t neglected my love of Twilight and actors such as Robert Pattinson and Zac Efron.

As befitting for a one year anniversary, I have uploaded a brand new layout, made by the fabulous Designs HQ. I wanted a very sophisticated and elegant look with a fresh appeal unlike my other layouts and she couldn’t have done a better job. Please let me know what you all think and if you’re in need of a layout, check her out!

There are new things on the horizon and more awesomeness coming your way as summer approaches. There are amazing summer shows that I’ll be featuring, like Drop Dead Diva & Royal Pains, and other exciting things, like celebrating the release of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and so much more.

I’m so excited for the summer! Not only is there fun, sun, beaches, memories, and more; but some of my favorite TV shows are coming back, finally. One of my new favorites is Royal Pains, whose second season premieres on June 3rd on USA Network. Here are some promo pictures for all you fans to enjoy. You can check out the rest here.

Just an update for you all, the Dreaming of Stars 1 year anniversary is coming very soon and I’ll be celebrating with a new layout, hopefully a new gallery, and a bunch of other things that will make my site’s birthday a BIG BANG! I can’t believe it’s been a whole year already.

I’ve been working really hard on my new site, Vi3tI3abe Media so I suppose I’ve been neglecting this site but it’s still my baby and I do love reporting on celebrities and TV shows. More will come soon.

Also, I’m in the brain storming stage of development for an up and coming sexy male actor who deserves some recognition, yet doesn’t have a home online yet. Be on the look out for that.

Hey everyone! As you can see there’s a new layout up, made by the fabulous Isi at Eclipse Designs. This one is featuring the very beautiful Eva Longoria since I’m a huge fan of Desperate Housewives. I have been EXTREMELY busy with school and personal issues I’ve barely had time to catch up on my shows! But I just got done my exams and will be catching up and updating as well.

Here’s a new Ask DH segment with Marc Cherry & Drea de Matteo. I just finished watching last week’s episode of Desperate Housewives and I thought it was okay. I like Julie Benz (the stripper) as an actress but I don’t know how far this new plot for Susan is going to go. It was amusing how MJ was so smitten with her though, asking her for hugs & baths, too cute. I thought it was hilarious when Tom & Lynette had their therapy sessions though, especially when they were making fun of how their therapist acted in that play. Their dynamic relationship is a personal interest to me because it kind of relates to my real life, not the therapy, but the husband-wife complex that they share. I don’t know if I even care enough about Angie’s secret (the main plot of the season), although Drea goes know how to play a scary, mean character.

Cougar Town, starring Courtney Cox, is definitely becoming a new favorite of mine. The writer/producer of Scrubs is the one who made it so it comes as no surprise. I really want Jules to end up with Grayson, I feel like they could be good together, but I don’t know how she’d react to him sleeping with her friend (Busy Philips). But I suppose the premise of the show is her adventures dating as a 40 year old and not about her settling down. I especially enjoyed last week’s episode when the guys went out bar-hopping and took those pictures, that montage was hilarious!

I also watched HIMYM, which was okay. I enjoyed Barney going on his many dates and it was humorously creepy that Marshall and Lily share the same toothbrush, but I feel like the show has lost its drive. Even though I know reveiling the “Mother” would basically end the show, it wouldn’t hurt to focus on Ted a little more. Barney is the funniest character of them all though. Plus, I think Lily is getting more annoying with each episode. I mean I adore Alyson Hannigan but her character, not so much.

On a more funny note, I absolutely LOVED last week’s episode of The Big Bang Theory. When Sheldon was in the ball pit I could not stop laughing! I swear he gets funnier with each episode. I just love when he says “BAZINGA”. When the show first started out I didn’t really like him, thought he was pretty annoying, but eventually I saw the comic relief to his character and I always crack up in his scenes.

I am getting very disappointed with The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Before, I used to love it but hate it yet still be able to watch it religiously. Now I want to watch it, but the constant repeat of words and phrases and how the show just drags on is getting to be too much for me. It’s like one character says a line and the other character repeats it and they go back and forth until the show ends. I honestly don’t know how much longer I’ll be watching this show.

Also, I’m super excited for this week’s episode of The Vampire Diaries. So in love with that show, it’s ridiculous. The guys are hot and the story line is very interesting. We just can’t get enough about vampires can we? Nina Dobrev is such a sweetheart, very pretty, and I like her playing Elena/Katherine. Paul Wesley as Stefan is so dreamy. I love their relationship together, it just makes me melt. Ian Somerhalder as Damon is quite delicious as well. He’s so dangerous, just what any girl would want. I’m not to thrilled about the new vampires, but it should all play out well. I think the writers/producers are doing a fantastic job so far, but I hate how they keep going on a hiatus after every few episodes, like they’re about to do after this week, such a tease!

Finally, I have been secretly, and now publicly, addicted to Grey’s Anatomy. I was able to catch up on all five seasons during my spare time and am ready to start watching Season 6. I used to think it was all about the drama, nothing medically related, but it’s not like that at all. And I actually enjoy the drama. I do love Mer & Derek’s relationship, although Meredith can be a bit annoying sometimes. I would have to say my favorite character is Cristina, even though she is a “robot”. I do miss T.R Knight’s character, O’Malley though, but the show must move on.

Well that was a HUGE update, so I’m going to go watch more shows and play “Words with Friends” on my iTouch =)

I’ve been feeling a little out of the blogging mood lately, especially since the release of New Moon, there isn’t much Twilight news to talk about. Vampire Diaries is on hiatus so there’s a dead end. There are other shows I’m keeping up with, but my finals are coming up like quickness so I won’t be paying much attention to that until my exams are done. I can’t believe it’s December already! Time for lights, snow, carols, and presents! I can’t wait to fly home for Christmas and spend some quality time with the family. I suppose that’s enough personal, sentimental stuff, this is a fan site after all, but I can blog every now and then right? Plus it’s the season for that kind of thing!

I’ll be changing the look of the gallery and probably the site too, most likely after the holidays.

I was downloading some ebooks for my itouch and it got me thinking about good works of literature. One of the first thoughts that came to mind was the classic poem, The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe. Such a great work, I just wanted to leave you all with a bit of that until I can find something to actually write about.
